When I started the university in 2012, I thought I wanted to study Medicine, particulary, forensic medicine, for that reason I applied to "Bachillerato" at Universidad de Chile. In fact, Universidad de Chile was my only option. No matter what, the career or other thing I knew I really wanted to study at Universidad de Chile because I did some classes for EdV (Summer School of Universidad de Chile) like human anatomy, cancer and cancer cells, contemporany literature and cellular medicine. I enjoyed a lot that classes, I made good friends and the atmosphere was nice. Of course, I learned many things about human medicine.
Well, I chose sciences at Bachillerato, but the first semester was a nightmare, I hated Math and Physics, and If I'm honest I hated all subjets about sciences. I liked the classes of Sociology and Antropholoy And I loved Psychology classes. After two months, I knew I wanted to study Psychology.
I went to the psychologist of Bachillerato for a few times and talked with her about that. She thought I was satisfied with my choice (and this is very unlikely because I'm always obssesive and anxious). Then, in 2013, I applied to Psychology.
Now, I'm in 3th year and this is THE career of my life. I can't imagine to study another one. I'm happy because I study a very human career, hahaha. But seriously, it's true, I have learned to see other person as a human, not only as an organism or a body.
In the future, I hope to be a good psychologist and help children.
I'm glad you found your vocation. I had two psychology courses in my sociology career, and I really liked them :), psychology is very interesting
ResponderEliminarHello, Grace!
ResponderEliminarI also had the opportunity of take part of EdV, and I think that it's a very enriching experience. You can know friends with similar interests, and understand in more profundity a career!
Finally, I'm pleased with your enthusiasm with Psychology.
Regards:)
